"The Beach Girls and the Monster" plays out like a live action Scooby-Doo episode. The only thing missing was a stoner and the dog. Everything about the monster is comically bad and the plot twist is obvious from miles ahead. There is this saloon piano music playing all .

The score for The Beach Girls and the Monster was arranged and conducted by Chuck Sagle, and a few of the musicians assembled for the soundtrack were members of the surf band The Hustlers (who are known for their songs "Kopout," "Inertia" and "Wailin’ Out") from Riverside, California.

The first few scenes reminded me very strongly of those in The Horror of Party Beach (). Similar sorts of films. This was released in and is a bad murder mystery rather than a bad monster movie. The murderer was obvious to me when the character was introduced, but I read a lot of murder mysteries. Acting and directing are adequate.

May 07,  · This is one of those fun "Find 10 Mistakes" films. The syndicated TV version, called "Monster From the Surf" has more scenes. This means some of the most unintentionally hilarious dialogue and inept acting parts are missing or incomplete. I've seen two versions of this film (The Beach Girls and the Monster & Monster From the Surf)/5(20).
